A Message From Coach Herman

Vineyard Football has long been known for its tradition of excellence. With pride and determination, the players and coaches sought to represent their school and community with dignity.

Very few sports require the team concept and discipline as much as football. In order for the team to be successful, all eleven players must play with one heart beat on each and every play. Football is one of the only sports where eleven individuals of various racial and ethnic backgrounds come together for one common cause. Vineyard Football is truly a team sport.

As always, a heartfelt thank you goes to all of our community members, school personnel, school committee and parents. Without the support of these people, Football and other Athletic Sporting events would not be possible.

– Donald Herman, Head Football Coach
