A Message from Coach Herman
"Vineyard Football has long been known for its tradition of excellence. With pride and determination, the players and coaches sought to represent their school and community with dignity.

"Very few sports require the team concept and discipline as much as football. In order for the team to be successful, all eleven players must play with one heart beat on each and every play. Football is one of the only sports where eleven individuals of various racial and ethnic backgrounds come together for one common cause. Vineyard Football is truly a team sport.

"This year promises to be an exciting one. With five home games, MVTV weekly broadcasts, our own website, and live WMVY radio broadcasts, the Vineyard team is prepared to compete in the Eastern Athletic League and vie for another Divisional Super Bowl appearance.

"As always, a heartfelt thank you goes to all of our community members, school personnel, school committee and parents. Without the support of these people, Football and other Athletic Sporting events would not be possible."

- Donald Herman, Head Football Coach
